…Yah Lean…

Everything I’ve seen, made me everything I am

I dug up some goodies from the photo vault.  Oh the memories.

I use to love video games.  I had the record High Score on  and Donkey Kong at Aladdin’s Castle in Orem for at least 3 years.  They use to stack up milk crates just so I could play.  This is me getting busy on the Atari 2600…probably bodying Pitfall or Krull.  I was an avid gamer up until 5 or so years ago.  I just don’t have the time anymore.  I might have posted this before, but I placed in the top 5 for a National Nintendo Power Tournament.  It was kinda like that tourny in the movie The Wizard.  I won a Game Boy…I had that baby and 20 games a cold year before it hit store shelves…and my ugly mug appeared in Nintendo Power Magazine.   I miss the old video games…sure Maddenn’s fun, but there’s something to be said about the simplicity of a game like Burger Time, or Space Ace.   What’s my favorite psuedo current game?  Ratchet and Clank.

Say hi to my mom…whats crazy is I took the following photos!  If I wanted to make excuses for my life I would start here, but I don’t believe that your childhood has any bearing on who you are as an adult.  Sure it might make your road a little tougher, longer and litered with dirty coke mirrors but all in all life is what we make it.  I hate when I hear sob stories about how so and so had it tough as a kid…we all have it tough as kids…rich, poor, whatever, it’s never easy.  Even though my mom was a colossal failure as a parent I still love her for bringing me into the world and giving me the opportunity to forge my own path…for that I’ll forever be grateful.  And she didn’t cut and run like my dad so she gets points for that.

Good old Party at our place.  I used to hustle my moms drunk friends out of so much dough.  Later on in life I earned a good living selling them ‘party favors’…some of which I lifted straight from their purses or moms medicine cabinet.  I was a shrewd entrepreneur.

This s why I think Streetwear can be so weird.  Stussy is now considered cool, well, I guess it is by some people it might be…and it use to be sold at K-Mart.

Gleaming the cube baby….just Gleaming The Cube.  Get your concave up!

Not sure who this is…I think it’s my uncle, but this shot is really really dope.
